Th400 overdrive

The big difference between the 700 and 200 is the first gear ratio. The 700 is 3.06 and the 200 is something like 2.7. This means a lot less of a torque drop unless your engine is built for it. I'm still evaluating the difference from the TH400 to the 200. I'm not convinced it was a good decision.

4L60e is a descendent of the 700r tranny but computer controlled. Not a bad tranny but there is a big difference between 1st and 2nd ratios. Many were used in Gen 4 cars behind LS1 engines. A better option would be the 4L80e but it is heavier and likely overkill for your application.
