It seems as if our duo of new players had already basically figured it out?Well, hold your tongue, because there's knowing "the twist" and then there's really understanding... For me Kotor 1 is easily the superior game. It had the classic Star Wars feel (while still telling a new story in a completely different era), the characters were awesome and the twist at the end is one of the best in video game history. Its among my favourite RPG's of all time. I think Kotor 2 is a bit overrated. I think so. The spoiler, while significant for your first playthrough, is something everyone that replays the game already knows. The game is just that good, even when knowing the twist.
