Got an 05 Kawasaki 1500 Vulcan Classic that suddenly won't start. It's been sitting for the past 2 months because of the weather, but I start it at least once a week. Yesterday I moved it. Last November, the bike wouldn’t start. A friend (Mercedes tech) and I diagnosed coils as the issue, no voltage at plug wires. Check the battery connections. Charge the battery. Check the battery voltage right after taking the charger off. Let the bike sit a couple hours. Check the battery voltage again. Check the battery voltage with the bike idling. Check the battery voltage with the rpms up (3,000 rpm or so).
