Had a versys-x 300 (20,000 miles) and now have a crf300l (5,000 miles) both with ABS. X300 issues: heavier to pick up. plastic breaks easier even with engine guard. Mine had a crack due to a drop in which the rock missed the engine guard and hit the plastic. my x300 burns oil keeping it above 9,000 to 12000 rpms.
