I just bought a 2022 F350 with the 6.7L Powerstroke Diesel. I paid an extra $250 to get the manual regeneration feature for the DPF. I didn't realize in order to do a manual regen the truck has to be stationary, otherwise I wouldn't have paid for the option. I just can't find much information on exactly how to start a manual regeneration.

DO NOT BYPASS AN EGR VALVE. the computer commands this to open at certain times and some require feedback form the egr. then it will turn on the service engine soon light. egr valves are part of the emission system and stop valve rattle which can cause valve failure. just get a new one and do not try to clean it as it will not work hence stick.
