Your new thermostat is pre-programmed and ready to go. All you have to do is set the time and day. Then check the settings below and change if needed: 1. Set time and day (required for proper operation) .....See page 6 2., If you see a cool on blinking on your thermostat it means that there is fault in the thermostat wiring or the battery is dying. The Cool On message also appears on screen when AC gives a 5 minutes cooldown time to the compressor or if blower motor is not working properly. A dirty Air Filter can also be the reason for cool on blinking on thermostat.
