We recently built a new house and in preparation I bought a RTH9585WF thermostat a few months ago (well before the house was done). I'm finally getting around to installing it and have noticed that it does not have a place to connect a U1 wire as my current tstat (Honeywell Vision 8000)., If the room temperature is below the heat set point, the thermostat display should indicate a call for heat. 2. Ensure that the furnace door is closed. 3. Make sure that the furnace power switch and circuit breakers are on. 4. Verify that the wires were matched correctly and are securely connected at the thermostat.
