Claytor Lake State Park to Chillicothe, 278 Miles traveled.Just returned from Hilton Head SC. Experienced a 30 minute backup on I77 North as we approached the VA / WV state line due to traffic slowing at Big Walker Mountain. I noticed a lot of cars returning to the highway near the mouth of the tunnel. Apparently there is a way to bypass the slowed traffic on I77 North.
